WATER WELL AND PUMP SERVICE INFORMATION FOR Moorpark, CA 93021
If you need to drill a water well or need water pump service for your well in Moorpark, it is nice to know a little bit about your city.
The city of Moorpark was named after the Moorpark apricot which was grown throughout the area in which the city is located. It was given this name by Robert Poindexter who owned and surveyed the townsite in 1887. Over 36,000 people now live in its 12.58 square miles and it was incorporated as a city in 1983.
Although most of the buildings in the city have been built in the last 30 years, a few historical places remain. The downtown area features pepper trees along High Street planted by city mapper Robert Poindexter. North of Moorpark a few palm trees still line the roads of Egg City, a massive egg farm where millions of chickens produced eggs for over 30 years.
